But I have a copy of an October 1959 article from MOTOR CARRIER magazine which describes the acquisition of LASME by National City Lines (yep, the city bus people). National must have continued to operate LASME under that name, or resold it, because there was indeed a merger of TIME-DC with LASME in 1969. Relevant to Vancouver BC, LASME operated a BC Seattle Transport subsidiary, and maybe THAT company was bought by TIME-DC.
