As waybills cycle, loads may have to be added or removed for loaded or empty movements, or in some cases, one load exchanged for another. The ability to do that is why I nearly always make removable loads.
Tony ThompsonTony Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11593061828601275378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3218524178230712938.post-57238134179135086192017-03-12T06:32:55.338-07:002017-03-12T06:32:55.338-07:00I have found that loads don't really move arou...I have found that loads don't really move around much. I have a three drawer cabinet of 'open loads'. Operators are instructed to check their trains and switch lists to make sure that the specified loads are correct. If they differ from the load specified in the switch list they simply change them out for the proper load from the cabinet. This seems to work just fine.
Dave Cochrun
Castle Rock & Pacific (C.R.A.P.)Dave...https://www.blogger.com/profile/03264051678735868420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3218524178230712938.post-74013277665088475542017-02-25T21:26:40.890-08:002017-02-25T21:26:40.890-08:00Double-sided tape will certainly attach most loads...Double-sided tape will certainly attach most loads. I think if I were doing it, I would stick it to a couple of things beforehand, to reduce stickiness on the model. I would not be at all surprised if it messes with paint if left on for very long.
Tony ThompsonTony Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11593061828601275378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3218524178230712938.post-8448592366004303272017-02-25T18:02:58.617-08:002017-02-25T18:02:58.617-08:00I was thinking of just using double-sided scotch t...I was thinking of just using double-sided scotch tape. Not too sticky, and cheap. A new piece of tape for each use should do the trick and I don't think it will remove any paint. The load will have to have a bottom, though.

Randy
Modeling the New Haven Railroad 1946-1954
http://blog.newbritainstation.comRandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07902146238334692276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3218524178230712938.post-28393547261220979982012-03-13T09:39:36.315-07:002012-03-13T09:39:36.315-07:00Good suggestion, Ashley.
